The connection between the bathtub and relaxation is an intricate cultural construct. Depending on the individual, it may bring to mind tea lights, a steamy haze, whale songs, or a paperback held perilously close to the water’s surface. The shower, meanwhile, may occupy a very different place in our collective imagination: one of cold awakenings and rushed routines.
